PARRA Cooler Box, Large (47L)

The PARRA Cooler Box is a tough and highly efficient Cool Box for keeping food and perishables fresh for up to seven days. It is constructed with a Polypropylene body, ABS Handle, Stainless Steel hardware and Polyurethane Foam for insulation. Weighing in at 10kg, with 47L of capacity and overall dimensions of 65.3cm x 49.5cm x 48.3cm, it is the perfect blend of spacious and easy to carry. The built in Handles on either side of the Cooler are comfortable to use and fold away when not in use, making it perfect for storing in the back of the car, on public transport or stacked with other PARRA Coolers for compact storage.

The lid has a gasket to ensure a perfect seal, and is latched closed by two tough clasps to retain the seal and keep the pesky bears at bay. Oh yeah, now is probably a good time to mention that PARRA Cases rate this Cooler as 'Bear Resistant' thanks to the excellent seal around the lid. This is to prevent pesky scavengers from smelling the contents of the Case a mile off, and making pilgrimage to relieve you of your snacks. Speaking of the lid - it can also double as a table (of sorts) thanks to the integrated 'cup holder' mouldings on the top. The Cooler features a easy-flow drainage spout, which can be used to drain excess water from the Cooler, should you actually manage to use it long enough for ice to melt.

As you would expect from a PARRA Cases product, this Cool Box has been tried and tested to the extreme. The Case has an IP67 Waterproof Rating, meaning the Case can prevent the ingress of water when submerged up to 1m for 30 minutes. The Cooler has also passed an Impact Resistance Test, as well as a Low/High Temperature Test (IEC60068-2-1 & IEC60068-2-2). This is the standard for PARRA Cases, and all these tests have been performed by Intertek, a third party quality assurance company, so that you can be certain that you're getting the quality that you have paid for.
